Community Service: 6 hrs

Completed Hours: 10 hrs

We have officially completed the neurology module! So far this has been the most challenging module but very rewarding. This semester in reality feels like a rollercoaster one moment you are completely relaxing and the next you extensively working. Sometimes it's hard balancing life and school work but it's doable. This month for my community service, I volunteered to help at baseball tournament in which players range from the ages of four to seven year olds. At the beginning of the game, one assisted with ticket selling at the entrance until we reached one thousand dollars for the boy's scout. The boy scouts are an organization that aims to promote character development, citizenship training, and personal fitness amongst young boys. They usually participate in several activities such as camping, hiking, finishing and many other outdoor activities. In the afternoon, I volunteered to work in the concession stand selling food, drinks and candy. As well as ensuring that spectators follow safety guidelines and managing crowd flow. After accomplishing the final sale all the volunteers helped with the cleaning procedure. As always you can never forget to support the teams to bring positive energy into the crowd and motivate players to perform their best in the field. I had an amazing experience volunteering at the baseball tournament. I enjoyed it very much! by the way I love working with kids.
